Build and improve our prediction models. You'll work on ensemble forecasting, probability calibration, and finding new sources of edge.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and backtest quantitative models for prediction markets
- Improve our weather forecasting ensemble with new data sources
- Research market microstructure and identify mispricings
- Build calibration systems to convert forecasts into accurate probabilities
- Collaborate on expanding into sports and event markets
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong background in statistics, probability theory, or quantitative finance
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scipy, statsmodels)
- Experience with time series forecasting or weather/climate modeling a plus
- Familiarity with prediction markets, sports betting, or trading
- Self-directed with ability to identify and pursue research directions
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with NWP models (GFS, ECMWF, HRRR)

- Strong experience with React/Next.js and TypeScript

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop quantitative models for football, basketball, and baseball betting markets
- Source and integrate play-by-play data, injury reports, and line movements
- Identify market inefficiencies and profitable betting angles
- Backtest strategies and track real-world performance
- Collaborate with quant team on model architecture and calibration
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven track record in sports betting (documented results preferred)
- Strong quantitative skills — statistics, probability, modeling
- Deep knowledge of at least one major sport (football, basketball, or baseball)

- Develop the Arctic Odds brand voice and visual identity
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong writing skills with ability to explain complex topics simply
- Experience growing social media audiences (show us your work)
- Understanding of prediction markets, sports betting, or trading
- Comfortable with video content creation
- Self-starter who can own the content calendar end-to-end

- Existing following in betting/trading/finance spaces
